Underwater Adventure Bilingual Personalized Book ” Ashrith and the Dolphin ” Story :
A little boy, the main character is allowed into the adult swimming pool for the first time.Suddenely , he feels something tickling his feet..it is a dolphin ! He goes underwater on the dolphin’s back. It is the beginning of an amazing underwater adventure. A Sea Turtle is tangled in a fishing net inside a shipwreck. Can he save the turtle ? And will he manage to earn his swimming certificate at the sametime ?

My thoughts on the book :
At first glance of the book and you know it’s a colorful with beautiful illustrations. The story is imaginative and children instantly get attracted to adventure and story line. The main character in the story is adorable and many kids can relate to this sweet boy who is all excited and nervous to swim in the big swimming pool. As a mother, the story made me recollect and refresh my son’s swimming memories.
Personalizing the book with child’s name makes the book even more special. While ordering the book you have several options to choose from, right from the title name, to the skin color and hair color of the character.
I like that story is written in very simple words for little kids to follow. The other option for customization is languages, you can choose two languages of your preference from several languages.I wish they had Indian languages like Hindi or Telugu to pick from but I am glad we chose French as my son would love to learn the language when he is in Middle school.English and French are the two languages we chose for our book.
When we received the book, I was amazed with the high quality of the book cover and pages. This bilingual book is informative for young readers about the underwater like ocean animals, seaweeds. I like that it passes a sweet message that Humans can take better care of the ocean and its animals.
My kids opinion : The Story is interesting and feels like Iam swimming in the ocean.Even though Iam 9 years old , I couldn’t put the book down and the illustrations are amazing!
This book is magnificent and Thank you for sending us a copy !

Discover the underwater adventure as you make this Ocean Sensory Bag with your child.Sensory bags are great to make and fun to play especially for elementary age kids . My student Medha came up with this brilliant idea and drew the pictures looking at the book. Then with the help of my son , we made the Ocean sensory bag.
Materials Needed :

Little foam stickers
Paper cutout of drawings made by kids
Glitter
Sand
Water
Blue Liquid water color
Shells ( missing in pics )
How to make a Ocean Sensory Bag
Instructions :
Kids draw the characters and ocean animals with pencil on a sheet of paper .
Then we color them using Markers and paints .

Use scissors to cut these shapes .

Take a jug of water ,add drops of blue liquid watercolor to it .Water turns into beautiful blue just like underwater.
Pour this water into a large plastic bag.
Add glitter and sand to the water.

Now add a second bag to the above bag to create a layer .
In this pocket add all the art pieces , foam stickers to create a underwater scene.
Then seal the bag with duct tape to secure if you are giving to toddlers .

If the kids are older they will enjoy the process of making a sensory bag and if you have little ones, it will be a fun quite time activity .They will love squishing the Ocean Sensory bag !
